On 30 October 2026, Brazil held Transmission Auction No. 4/2026, allocating more than R$8.9 billion in planned investment across seven states. The auction covers eight project lots and approximately 1,866 kilometres of new transmission lines and related infrastructure, with an estimated potential to generate around 20,300 jobs.
The projects create opportunities for engineering contractors, equipment suppliers and energy-infrastructure companies. HPC can support grid modelling, electricity-demand forecasting, transmission planning and infrastructure project analytics.
