On 20 October, Brazil’s CNPq announced that the Pepe Mujica programme had received approximately R$160 million in additional funding, supplementing its original R$50 million allocation. The programme preliminarily approved 378 regional scientific-cooperation projects, including 98 involving AI; this is research funding rather than a direct venture-capital round for startups. Startups, research spin-offs and accelerators can explore AI development infrastructure, business intelligence and research-data analytics. HPC can support computing-intensive product development and scalable data workloads; contact HPC for a quotation based on your technical requirements.
